Ann Drake, CEO of DSC Logistics and founder of AWESOME, received the David F. Schulz Award for Outstanding Public Service in Transportation and Infrastructure Policy on June 22 at the 2015 William O. Lipinski Symposium on Transportation Policy and Strategy sponsored by Northwestern University’s Transportation Center.
The Symposium, entitled “Paths to Economic Competitiveness: Advancing Supply Chain Performance in the Chicago Hub,” featured a keynote address by Matthew K. Rose, current executive chairman and former chairman and CEO of BNSF Railway. Former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood also was involved, and former Illinois Congressman William O. Lipinski was on hand to present the award.
