The eight 2018 “Rainmakers” announced by DC Velocity magazine include three leading women in supply chain: Sheila Benny, Executive VP, Optricity; Amy Carovillano, VP Logistics & Distribution, The Container Store; and Susan Spence, VP Sourcing & Procurement, FedEx Corporation. Rainmakers are selected as leaders who are advancing the logistics and supply chain management profession.
Sheila and Amy have been active in AWESOME activities in the past – Amy as a panelist at the 2018 Symposium in the session about “Leading with Impact.”
