A panel of supply chain leaders, led by Nancy Nix, AWESOME Executive Director Emeritus, discussed how to empower women as an important aspect of Supply Chain Talent Management at an event presented recently by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) in Chicago. AWESOME leaders are speakers at first “Women in Supply Chain Summit” held by MIT

The MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics has launched a new initiative to support the professional growth of women in supply chain. The first of a planned series of summits was held on March 26-27 in Boston. AWESOME Advisor Maria Nieradka, Principal of Three Lions Consulting, was featured as a speaker leading into a discussion on Filling the Talent Gap, and Dana Stiffler, Managing Partner of Gartner, spoke about Mentorship, Sponsorship and Networking.
