AWESOME, the initiative founded in early 2013 to advance women supply chain leaders, released the third volume of “Reality Check” – up-to-date insights and information on women’s supply chain leadership — at the global conference of CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals) on September 21. Subtitled “What We Can Do,” this report follows two other volumes of “Reality Check,” issued in October 2013 and May 2014.
Volume Three takes previous observations about circumstances, challenges, and strategies to the next level by identifying actual steps that can be taken to encourage diversity and women’s leadership throughout the industry. Like the earlier two volumes, this “Reality Check” is wisdom collected during discussions at AWESOME symposiums and other events.
