Mercer Research cites “inflection point” for gender parity

As a result of four years of a research project titled “When Women Thrive, Businesses Thrive,” a report released by Mercer states that a gender inflection point has been reached. According to the report, “We have a choice – to either seize this opportunity or watch the potential for progress for women slip away.”

For the 2018 report – Accelerating for Impact: 2018 Gender Inflection Point – Mercer set out to “further understand the drivers of female advancement and identify concrete steps organizations can take to change or improve their trajectories.”

The paper focuses on three main strategies:

    • Using analytics to navigate the future of work
    • Enabling Employees to Bring Their Whole Selves to Work
    • Making Change for Good through Culture and Courageous Leadership
