Almost two years ago, the way we led teams, communicated, and on-boarded changed drastically for most of us. We all had to lean into new ways of leadership and being able to instill (or keep) the sense of community and trust. The world keeps changing, and conversations at the leadership level around authenticity, diversity, equity, inclusion, and wellbeing are sometimes not prioritized at the level they should be.
During this LIGHTNING Round, AWESOME leaders shared what skills we had to refine, blind spots we encountered, culture shifts, A-Ha! moments, and how they kept their team connected and communication clear in an environment that too many felt was isolating or overwhelming. We talked about challenges and opportunities and what individuals are doing to continue to grow as a leader, personally and professionally.
