Kathy Wengel, Johnson & Johnson’s Executive Vice President & Chief Global Supply Chain Officer and an AWESOME Advisor, participated in the 2019 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. In an interview for Hub Culture, she talks about how the intersection of science and technology is bringing untapped potential to the healthcare field and helping the supply chain bring medicine to hard-to-reach areas.

In a separate interview focused on diversity, Kathy said, “Diversity is who we are. Inclusion is how we do it.”

The World Economic Forum is the International Organization for public-private cooperation. The Forum engages political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. The theme of the 2019 Forum was “Globalization 4.0.”

Kathy also participated in panel discussions at both the B20 (Business 20) and the W20 (Women 20) Forums held in Argentina last November. B20 and W20 are official engagement groups that preceded the November G20 Summit and offered recommendations to that group.
