The health experts at Johnson & Johnson are providing valuable wellness information on the J&J website. A recent article focuses on alleviating stress, including the stress of trying to keep New Year’s resolutions.
According to Matthew Miller, Ph.D., Manager of Behavior Science for Johnson & Johnson Health and Wellness Solutions, stress is toxic and can cause all kinds of health problems. “We’ve never known more about how to mitigate stress, or had as much evidence for what to do when we’re feeling stressed than we do now,” says Miller. “Yet we tend to build situations that don’t allow us to behave in our best interest.”
The article describes four ways to beat stress, including:
- Take a break from Social Media.
- Get moving.
- Set a consistent sleep routine.
- Be mindful and grateful.
