Jennifer NixJennifer Nix has coordinated the collaboration between AWESOME (Achieving Women’s Excellence in Supply Chain Operations, Management, and Education) and CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals) to plan a six-session Diversity and Inclusion Track for CSCMP’s 2014 global conference in San Antonio, September 21-24. Nix is Director, Strategic Partnerships, DSC Logistics, and a member of the Women’s Leadership Council at DSC, and she is also President of the CSCMP Chicago Roundtable.

Nix has worked with CSCMP leaders and AWESOME Advisors to select high priority topics for the Diversity and Inclusion Track and to develop the line-up of diverse, highly-qualified presenters, moderators and panelists to bring together different perspectives.

Key topics featured in the six sessions are global career experiences, creative approaches to a flexible workplace, professional networks and how they can be leveraged, lessons from leading supply chain women, diversity programs that enhance competitiveness, and practical methods for leading balanced teams.
