— Member of the panel of men supply chain leaders at the 2015 AWESOME Symposium. Panelists agreed honest feedback is essential for all individuals who want to advance. But it becomes an issue when men are uncomfortable giving women honest feedback.

Panelists urged women to persevere in getting the feedback that can help them. One panelist suggests asking the question, ”What’s one thing that I can do better than I’m already doing?”

As well as the individual taking responsibility for getting the feedback she needs, panelists also said that companies need to create an environment where it’s expected, given and valued.
