Helping Customers Do What They Couldn’t Do Before

Recently completing her first 90 days as CEO of Advanced Micro Devices, Lisa Su was asked in a Fortune interview how she plans to differentiate the company going forward. She brings the number of female CEOs of a Fortune 500 company to 25 and is the first to lead a major semiconductor company.

After spending much of her past three months on the road with customers and partners and employees, she concludes “it’s really about product applications and what we can enable and inspire. I think AMD is at our best when we’re working with a customer and allowing them to do something they couldn’t do before.”
