In a recent Q Talks Podcast, produced by Loyola University Chicago, Francesca DeBiase, Chief Supply Chain and Sustainability Officer, McDonald’s, and an AWESOME Advisor, shared her views on the intersection between business and ethics.
According to Francesca, “Customers want to patronize businesses where they see we’re doing the right thing.” She said it matters to employees, too, that they can feel proud of the company they work for. Francesca and two other leaders were interviewed by Seth Green, Founding Director, Baumhart Center, Loyola University Chicago.
Francesca also pointed out that people may have become less trustful of what the government is doing, so they are looking to companies to fill that gap.
