Engaging male leaders

One of the most enlightening and best received elements of AWESOME Symposiums has been the panel of male supply chain leaders having a candid discussion about how they view – and how they work to support – the advancement of women in supply chain. The 2015 Symposium will once again provide a forum for that kind of dialogue.

The following is an insight from the 2014 Symposium, which was quoted in Reality Check, Volume 3 – the collected wisdom from that event:

“I think that you need to really engage your male leaders as well. This is not a single handed war for women on women. It’s for the health of the organization. Both the men and the women in leadership positions should be working on all sides of the talent issue, because similarly there are men who are also being left out in the dust.
