Our AWESOME advisor, Debbie Lentz, has taken a new position as SVP and Chief Supply Chain Officer for Toys R Us based in Wayne, NJ. She was formerly SVP of Customer Service and Logistics for Kraft Foods. In her new role, she is responsible for U.S. distribution and customs compliance, global importing and exporting, fleet operations and domestic transportation, inventory planning and allocation as well as e-commerce fulfilment, while driving efforts to significantly improve in-stock position in-store and online. In addition, Debbie will lead supply chain and logistics strategy development for international markets with efforts to improve supply chain efficiencies globally.
Throughout her career with Kraft, Debbie held positions in global procurement, information systems, customer service, manufacturing operations and supply chain across the company’s multiple businesses in North America and Europe.
Debbie is on the Board of Directors of the International Women’s Forum Leadership (IWF) Foundation which focuses on leadership development, mentoring and advancing the careers of women globally, is an advisor to our AWESOME initiative and is an active member of CSCMP, the Council of Supply Chain
Management Professionals. Debbie is chair of this year’s CSCMP global conference September 21-21 in San Antonio.
