The engaging, interactive Making Waves sessions planned for Day 2 of the AWESOME Symposium – May 1-3 in Seattle — will give participants the opportunity to look more closely and share ideas about five dimensions of “Reaching Beyond and Achieving More.” The dimensions are reaching up, reaching out, reaching in, reaching back and reaching across.
Making Waves sessions were introduced at the 2018 Symposium as a way to encourage leaders to share insights and brainstorm strategies for advancing women’s leadership. Last year’s discussions resulted in the AWESOME Action Agenda: 16 Ways to Make Waves and Advance Women’s Leadership.
According to Heather Sheehan, Executive Director of AWESOME, “Each of these dimensions addresses how leaders can increase their impact and advance their own career as well as other women in the supply chain field. We’re convinced the collective thinking that happens during these sessions arrives at new conclusions with strong potential for achieving results.”
