From California to Minnesota, AWESOME leaders played an active role in recent industry discussions organized by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
On January 16, AWESOME Executive Director Heather Sheehan took part in a CSCMP Roundtable at Chapman University in Orange, California. The discussion explored the strategies of top leaders, touching on education, mentorship, workplace qualms and how to sustain an upward career trajectory.
In Minnesota’s Twin Cities, Kirsten Castillo, AWESOME’s VP of Member Engagement, and Malia Beal, AWESOME’s VP of Strategic Platforms, attended the CSCMP event focused on “Empowering Women in Supply Chain.” Two of the Roundtable panelists also are members of the AWESOME community. Ellen Voie is President and CEO of Women in Trucking, and Angie Freeman is Chief Human Resources Officer for C.H. Robinson. Angie will be speaking at the AWESOME Regional Event on March 12, sponsored by C.H. Robinson
