AWESOME leaders play key roles at USC Global Summit

The 2018 USC Global Supply Chain Excellence Summit featured four AWESOME leaders among the event’s key speakers, and Jennifer Schopfer received the Women’s Leadership in Supply Chain Award. In addition to a keynote address on supply chain trends by Regenia Sanders, Principal Partner at EY, panelists included Cornelia Coles, Kathy Fulton, and Heather Sheehan.

Cornelia Coles, VP J&J Operating System at Johnson & Johnson, spoke on two panels: “Modern Manufacturing” and “Optimizing Human Capital through Continuous Improvement.”

Kathy Fulton, Executive Director of the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN), spoke on “The Humanitarian Supply Chain.” She also spoke at the 2018 AWESOME Symposium about her work leading the non-profit that mobilizes and coordinates supply chain resources to deliver aid to victims of disasters. AWESOME’s Executive Director Heather Sheehan was a member of the panel focusing on “Talent Strategies.”

Jennifer Schopfer, who is VP of GE Transportation Transport Logistics, received USC’s Women’s Leadership in Supply Chain Award which recognizes women in supply chain roles who demonstrate outstanding leadership and pave the way for aspiring young female professionals as a pioneer in the supply chain space. Jennifer was a panelist in the mega session powered by AWESOME at the 2017 CSCMP EDGE conference.
