Annette Danek-Akey, SVP of Fulfillment at Penguin Random House, has been installed as the new President of the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC). She has been a member of WERC since 2012 and served on the Board since 2016.
Annette also has served as a panelist at AWESOME events as well as being a presenter at WERC’s Annual Conference for Logistics Professionals.
In describing her new responsibilities for WERC, Annette said, “As a huge proponent of the importance of always continuing to learn – particularly in the fast-changing fields of warehousing, logistics and supply chain – I strongly believe being a part of WERC is one of the easiest ways to keep current.”
She has been praised by WERC CEO Michael Mikitka for her “creative instincts and industry expertise.”
