Awards Celebration
A special virtual presentation and celebration will honor the 2020 AWESOME Legendary Leadership (ALL) Awards recipients, Ertharin Cousin and Joanne Wright.
Ertharin Cousin, former US Ambassador to UN Agencies for Food and Agriculture and former Executive Director of UN World Food Programme, has led efforts to address global food insecurity, working to transform food supply chains and enable access to feed the hungry around the world. She continues that work as a Distinguished Fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University’s Center on Food Security and Environment, and as the CEO and Founder of Food Systems for the Future, a nutrition impact investment fund.
In Joanne Wright’s role as VP, IBM’s Enterprise Operations and Services, she is at the leading edge of digital and cognitive transformation, utilizing artificial intelligence to enable agile, responsive supply chains to better serve customers. Prior to her current role, in which she is responsible for redesigning IBM’s operating model and driving end-to-end digital solutions, Joanne was VP of IBM’s Supply Chain, leading strategy, execution and transformation of IBM’s global supply chain.

To conclude the Mini-Symposium, Ann Drake, Founder and Chairman of AWESOME, and Francesca De Biase, Chief Supply Chain and Sustainability of McDonald’s, and Ann Drake, AWESOME Founder and Chairman, will lead a toast to new endeavors, saluting the eventful year 2020 and moving forward to 2021.
