Ann Drake, Chair and CEO of DSC Logistics and founder of AWESOME, has announced plans to transfer majority ownership of DSC to CJ Logistics, a leader in global supply chain management (SCM) innovation. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2018, pending regulatory and other customary approvals.
Ann has led DSC Logistics since 1994. Under her leadership, DSC has become a future-focused company excelling at strategic partnerships, thought leadership, and high-performance operations. She will remain as Chair of the DSC Advisory Board and retain minority ownership. She also will continue to be personally involved in AWESOME, the organization she founded in 2013, and provide guidance and support for AWESOME initiatives.
Describing the acquisition, Ann has said, “CJ Logistics is the right fit, at the right time. CJ shares our passion for dynamic supply chain leadership and will provide a global platform for DSC, while DSC will provide a platform of expertise, capabilities and leadership in the U.S.”
