AWESOME Founder Ann Drake, CEO of DSC Logistics, will be presented on May 3 with the 2018 Distinguished Alumni Service Award from the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University. The award honors alumni who have made significant investments in shaping Kellogg’s strategy, culture and brand to compete in the global marketplace.
Ann has been involved in advisory capacities with Kellogg and Northwestern since earning an MBA from Kellogg in 1984. For many years she served on the Business Advisory Council for the Northwestern University Transportation Center, including a term as vice chair. She currently serves on the Kellogg School Global Advisory Board and as a member of the Kellogg Global Women’s Summit Steering Committee. She is participating as a speaker (on “Building Relationships with Value”) and panelist (on “Kellogg’s Investment in Women”) at the Summit in May 2018.
She has been recognized previously by Kellogg, receiving the Alumni Merit Award in 2012. In 2015, Ann was honored with the Schultz Award for advancing women in transportation and logistics from Northwestern’s McCormick School.
