Alex Marren will head Aviation Industry Group for ABM

Alex Marren, an AWESOME Advisor, has been named as ABM’s SVP and President of the Aviation Industry Group. ABM is a leading provider of facility solutions with revenues of approximately $5.5 billion and more than 130,000 employees in 350+ offices throughout the United States and various international locations.

In announcing Alex’s new role, ABM’s Chief Financial Officer Scott Giacobbe said, “Alex has led large, complex and distributed operating organizations across the course of her career at United Airlines, ExpressJet and Hertz. Alex has a strong track record of driving results with a focus on customer service, cost and quality. She also brings a comprehensive understanding of our front-line employee workforce due to her extensive background in the airline industry…We are excited to have Alex’s experience and leadership to support our business.”

Over the course of 28 years with United Airlines, Alex rose to become Senior Vice President, Network Operations and United Express. In that capacity, she oversaw United’s day-to-day operations in the areas of operations control, flight dispatch, security, air traffic coordination, and operations planning and analysis, and was responsible for the overall performance of United Express.
