Two senior executives have joined the advisory group that works with AWESOME Executive Director Nancy Nix and Founder Ann Drake to provide input into and direction for AWESOME’s goals, priorities, and plans. They are Trish Young (left), VP of North America Supply Chain at Nike, and Natalie Putnam (right), VP of Integrated Marketing Strategy and Planning, Ryder System, Inc. Heather Sheehan (center), has been an Advisor since early 2014.
The Advisors met in early October to discuss plans for the fourth annual AWESOME Symposium, which will be hosted by Nike on April 27-29, 2016, in Portland, Oregon, and other topics, such as growth of the network which now includes nearly 600 leading women in supply chain. Advisors also participate in selecting leaders to receive the AWESOME Legendary Leadership (ALL) Award and awarding scholarships for university students to attend the annual conference of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
