We would like to express our deepest gratitude for three women who have served on the AWESOME Advisory Board since the beginning and who have now completed their tenure: Joann Michalik, Nancy Nix, and Fran Tucker.

Joann Michalik is a former Managing Director and Practice Leader at Deloitte Consulting whose career focused on transforming business performance. Joann has helped global manufacturers deploy innovative and process improvement solutions, including the creation of Lean Six Sigma programs for Allied Signal and GE and serving as Global Leader of Process Improvement for PwC.

Nancy Nix, PhD, became AWESOME’s first Executive Director in 2014 after a successful career that included being both an educator (Executive Director for the EMBA program and Professor of Supply Chain Practice at TCU) and a supply chain practitioner (with Dupont Company and Reliance Industries). Nancy received the Distinguished Service Award from CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals) in 2017.

Fran Tucker, PhD, is Emerita Professor of Marketing and Supply Chain in the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. Fran served on the Syracuse faculty for 42 years and was co-chair of the Salzberg Memorial Program and Academic Co-Director of the H.H. Franklin Program for Supply Chain Management.

All three women are incredible senior leaders in supply chain who have used their unique skills, experiences, and perspectives to make a critical impact on the AWESOME organization. Thank you, Fran, Joann, and Nancy, for your years of service and continued dedication to AWESOME’s mission of advancing and transforming the future of supply chain leadership!
