The National Association of Female Executives (NAFE), one of the largest associations for women professionals and business owners in the country, has recognized 60 companies that “prioritize the retention and promotion of female employees at all levels of the organization.” Of the 60 companies, which represent a wide range of business categories, 26 of the companies are represented in our AWESOME network membership.
The companies are evaluated for the percentage of women in certain categories, such as total # of employees, employees earning promotions to manager level and above, profit-and-loss executives, direct report to CEO, and board of directors members.
