Since supply chain leadership has become of prime importance to overall business success, supply chain leaders are now in a position to influence top levels of leadership and move into C-level positions. At the AWESOME Symposium on April 27-29, one session will feature a panel of accomplished C-Suite leaders and Board Directors talking about what it takes to lead in the C-suite and at the Board level.
The session “Beyond Supply Chain: Taking it to the Next Level” in the afternoon on April 28 will be moderated by Joanne Bauer, Board of Directors, Omnicell Inc. and Aurora Healthcare, and former President, Health Care, Kimberly-Clark Corporation. Panelists include Tanya Fratto, Non-Executive Director at Smiths Group plc and Former President and CEO, Diamond Innovations; Joyce Russell, President, Adecco Staffing U.S.; and Lynn Utter, Board of Directors, WESCO International and Former President / COO, Knoll.
With sound leadership lessons for senior leaders, panel members will share insights on questions such as what is required to move into higher-level positions and be successful in those roles? How does someone move beyond her functional role to have a seat at the table? What can an individual do to prepare? What unique contributions can be made as a C-level leader or a Board Director? They’ll also cover difficulties or challenges they faced in their own career journey and offer advice for navigating into future C-suite and/or Board roles.
