cheryl-harbourA letter to the editor in the New York Times, written by AWESOME Communications Advisor Cheryl Harbour, responded to a previously published essay that said women are naturally inclined to compete with and try to undermine each other.

Harbour’s letter suggested instead that women don’t feel threatened when they maximize their own potential through education, competence, and confidence. She also noted that women’s networks turn the focus from competing with each other to supporting each other.
