Ann Drake, CEO of DSC Logistics and founder of AWESOME, recently attended Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit. The Summit brings together the world’s top business leaders, policymakers, and experts, including two who played prominent roles at AWESOME’s 2015 Symposium: Sandi Peterson, Group Worldwide Chairman, Johnson & Johnson, who was featured in an UP-Close Conversation, and Beth Ford, Chief Supply Chain and Operations Officer, Land’O’Lakes, who received the 2015 AWESOME Legendary Leadership (ALL) Award.
Among the featured speakers at the Summit were IBM Chairman and CEO Ginni Rometty; General Motors CEO Mary Barra; and First Lady Michelle Obama.

She returned from the Summit with new connections and new referrals to the AWESOME network, noting that many people she spoke to were interested in knowing more about AWESOME’s expanding network and sense of purpose in advancing women’s leadership in supply chain.
